What do you make when you are craving something sweet but don’t have the patience for an elaborate recipe?  I found this fantastic recipe for Dark Chocolate Macaroons on the Minimalist Baker food blog.  I didn’t have any coconut oil, so I substituted canola oil instead.  I used vegan chocolate chips for the chocolate.  Ultimately, I decided that I like these macaroons better without the chocolate, and then they are even easier to make!  My little and big guys loved this tasty treat!  Enjoy!
