After watching an episode of The Great British Baking Show in which one of the challenges was to create the perfect brownie with a fudgy consistency, I was inspired to find a vegan version. I don’t know exactly what the judges of that competition had in mind, but this brownie recipe scored lots of points with my family. It was the perfect mix of a fudgy inside and a chewy outside. The only downside is that they are loaded with sugar. If you’re looking for a once in awhile chocolate fix, these brownies do the trick! 25 minutes was the right amount of baking time for my oven. Just be sure to let them cool completely before you cut them. Or if you want an excuse to eat a few tidbits that break off while serving, then don’t wait until they are completely cool!
