Now that my little guys can eat some tree nuts, including hazelnuts, I searched for a recipe that would tempt their tastebuds so that they could enjoy these tasty morsels on a regular basis.  Here it is — vegan orange hazelnut biscotti.  I made a few substitutions (I use fresh squeezed orange juice instead of orange extract, regular flour instead of chickpea flour, and vegan chocolate chips in stead of cacao nibs).  And if you prefer your biscotti a little less crispy, you can skip the second round of baking.  These are hard to keep on the kitchen counter for very long!  Yum!
