To liven up stay-at-home life amid the coronavirus pandemic, I decided to experiment.  After a few weeks of figuring out how to properly activate instant yeast while making various kinds of bread, I found this vegan cinnamon roll recipe here: Sprinkled with Jules Cinnamon Roll Recipe.

I only used one packet of yeast — who wants to use 4 packets on one morning treat i this time of scarcity?!  Instead of coconut oil, I used canola oil for the dough mix, and then melted earth balance butter for spreading on the rolled out dough.  And I ended up thinning out the glaze with some water, as recommended.  As you can see from the photo below, I included the ends in the pan so that I have two rolls without any filling, and I cut 16 pieces instead of the 12 called for in the recipe.  The results received two thumbs up from everyone in my household.  And the house smelled amazing.  Yeast and cinnamon!  Yum!
